Novotel Hyderabad stands for efficient luxury

One of the largest convention centres in the country, the Novotel HICC in Hyderabad, is also a thoughtful hotel that serves efficient luxury and some great food for you to work hard and relax or party harder.

The Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre (NHCC) and Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) sit on a sprawling 15-acre green campus, right beside the IT and business hub of HITEC City in Hyderabad. With 287 rooms and suites, the hotel offers guests stylish comfort — spacious rooms, modern design, and amenities tailored for both business travellers and leisure seekers. It also has an impressive pillar-free convention space of 66,000 square feet.

The property also features lush landscaped gardens, a big outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and spa, complimentary WiFi and shuttle service, a business desk, and convenient access to the city via the nearby airport or major roads.

The hotel offers a variety of restaurants and bars that serve different cuisines and are also good places to party or just chill.

Right next door, the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre provides the comfort and elegance of a five-star hotel. Spread across 15 acres of landscaped greenery, the property strikes a rare balance: it is both a tranquil urban resort and a fully equipped business hotel.

With 287 modern, well-appointed rooms and suites, guests enjoy contemporary amenities, high-speed connectivity, and views of lush lawns or the sparkling pool. For corporate delegations, having accommodation on-site means reduced travel time, effortless coordination, and a more cohesive event experience.

The available food and beverage options are impressive too. Permit to Grill, the hotel’s signature restaurant, offers a contemporary dining experience. The Bar provides a relaxed setting to unwind after a packed day, with cocktails, spirits, and small plates.

Adding to the hotel’s gastronomic appeal is Food Exchange, an all-day dining restaurant known for its live kitchens and an array of Indian and international specialities. From elaborate breakfast spreads to themed buffets and bespoke à la carte selections, Food Exchange brings together freshness, variety, and bold flavours under one roof, making it a favourite for both casual diners and business travellers.

Earlier in the year, NHCC presented the Suntory Bar Takeover, offering guests an exclusive range of handcrafted cocktails and premium spirits. This was followed by an Irish-inspired evening curated by Jameson, creating a Dublin-style atmosphere through distinctive pours and engaging storytelling. Expanding its culinary repertoire, the hotel also introduced a variety of gastronomic and cultural pop-ups, such as the ‘Arca Tulum’ Mexican dining experience, Chef Joel Basumatari’s Flavours of Nagaland featuring rare indigenous ingredients, and Chef Katherine Lim’s Hakka-Chinese showcase blending traditional flavours with modern interpretations. The Delhi Bar pop-up further elevated Hyderabad’s nightlife by recreating the capital’s vibrant bar culture within the hotel. Together, these experiences reflect NHCC’s evolving role as a cultural hub, an inviting space where guests can explore global cuisines, dynamic mixology, and curated cultural expressions without leaving the city.

I would end the review with the hotel’s sustainability efforts. Acoording to the centre’s press release, the property has installed 1,818 solar panels spread across 48,904 square feet with a capacity of 1000 KWp, generating 4,000 units of electricity per day and 1,460,000 units annually, accounting for 50% of HICC’s energy consumption. Harnessing the power of renewable energy, this initiative is set to reduce CO2 emissions by 1,022 tons per annum. The investment of INR 2.6 crores into this sustainable energy system is projected to yield savings of INR 1.17 crores annually, with an outstanding return on investment (ROI) of just 2.22 years
