The highlight of the apartment is a magnificent view from a huge glass facade. The beauty of the double-height foyer that connects the apartment with the staircase is accentuated by a shell art sculpture and light installation.

The lower floor has been designed to allow free movement and opens up to a decked terrace. The living room, drawing room and the kid’s playroom open up into the central, double-height lobby, creating a fluid public zone of the house. A playroom was conceived and designed as an interactive space for kids to spend their time with the family. Another secluded meeting area is part of the lower floor where the residents of the house can host official meetings.

The colour palette is largely composed of neutral grey, black and white, tied together in one rhythm with the use of wood. The colours in the house are brought in by tapestry, upholstery and artwork, which has been carefully curated with respect to the family’s taste.

Each bedroom is embellished with exclusive furniture and stunning art pieces that add character to the room. The rooms also feature personal seating dens or reading corners that add to the charm of the room.

Even spaces like the bathrooms have a subconscious sense of the greens. A piece of backlit stretch fabric with a Mountain View in one of the washrooms substitutes the absence of natural light brings the element of nature to the bathroom.

Conscious use of plants as an ornament is seen throughout the house with indoor potted plants. New level ornamentation was achieved by the use of planter chandeliers as an art installation in the deck area.
